In Greek, kleô means “to make famous,” “to celebrate,” and “to proclaim.” At Shop Klio, this spirit lives on - a place created to celebrate individuality, resilience, and the beauty of new beginnings.

The vision for Shop Klio began long before the doors opened. After years of working in and around the fashion industry, Katerina - the founder of Shop Klio - saw a major gap. Her hometown of Tucson, Arizona, was missing something: a boutique that blended European elegance with the fast-paced lives of modern women with an affordable price point. Born in Greece and raised in a family of hardworking immigrants, Katerina always carried a deep connection to both her roots and the pursuit of something greater.

She waited patiently - through years of working in various sectors, including running a successful wholesale company and even spending nearly 15 years as a dental hygienist in Arizona’s prison system. Though her path was unconventional, her dream never wavered. She understood what it meant to juggle full schedules, to chase growth over comfort, to live for early mornings and late nights, and to always seek inspiration in the chaos of everyday life.

Growing up in the restaurant business, Katerina learned early that success isn't born from convenience - it's built through perseverance, passion, and vision. At six years old, she was already featured in the local newspaper, tossing pizza dough in her parents’ restaurant. That work ethic never left her. Even through a traditional education and a "safe" career path, her heart remained with entrepreneurship, creativity, and the dream of creating a space that women could feel a part of.

Katerina was never meant to fit inside a box and neither is Shop Klio.

In 2023, after waiting for the right space and the right moment, she brought Shop Klio to life. Nestled in the heart of the north Foothills at St. Philip’s Plaza, Shop Klio offers not just clothing, but a way of life - designed for the busy, dynamic woman who balances ambition with self-care, strength with softness, and success with style.
